This guy seems sweet. It's so funny, though--when I first started someonessomeone, every time a guy would join all the girls (as the community's mostly comprised of girls) would swarm and leave tons of messages. Hee. Speaks volumes, non?

I finally got my freakin' permit renewed, and a date for my retaking of my driver's test. Dear Lord in Heaven, let me pass that blasted test so I can DRIVE! Granted, I'll be driving my mom's van, but I'll be able to DRIVE, which is beaucoup important. I must relax this time around, though.

I also went to the main library--much, much bigger than the branch library near my house, yet smaller than the library back in Durham--and got seven books. I finished one earlier today, and I'm on number two. I've been reading a bit, but I've been spazzing over so much I haven't gotten to read something really fun in a while. I hope I can finish all of the books before break. Checking them out reminded me of before we moved... during the summers, my dad would take us to the library like, once every other week and I'd check out five or six books and finish them all a week before they were due. What can I say? I am a very big nerd.

I have struck an incredibly new low. See, because I'm in journalism, I have access to a book with EVERYONE in school's phone numbers, addresses, and all of that. And, okay, I have the numbers for three guys I happen to like. And today I called two out of the three of them. Each time someone picked up, and I stammered out, "Oh, I have the wrong number! I'm sorry!" [smacks self on forehead] Lordy. At least I didn't call then hang up, the way I did when I was in fourth grade and I had the school directory and Kevin's phone number at my fingertips. His mom picked up, said, "Hello?" and I freaked and threw down the receiver so fast…

I am truly pathetic. There must be help for people like me. [g]

I still want to open some of my presents.
