I wrote and finished a script. A long script. Granted, it is ridiculous and should not see the light of day, but I did and I just need like, another day to process it and return to IMing people at obscene hours of the night.

In the meantime, here's an adapted version of a meme I've seen on Tumblr:

Choose up to four (or less) actors/actresses and ~~put~~ leave their names in ~~my askbox~~ comments. I'll put my music player on shuffle and whatever song pops up, I'll create a graphic and a film synopsis for it.

I dared to venture outside today and got in a good walk. It snowed last night and during most of the morning, so there were lots of people out wandering around the snowscape. I was having fun and taking pictures until I got the bright idea to walk under this bridge, and there was lots of runoff from the melting snow/ice, and I wiped out and got my left side drenched and I ended up bruising my palms a little bit. But other than that, it was okay!

While I was at the park I got on the swings and made a video. I don't know why everything's all pink and hazy, that's purely unintentional. At the very end I had to stop because I couldn't swing very well as I had the camera in my right hand and I almost fell over.

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS! I now have one of these guys. I have wanted a Pizza Planet alien since I saw the first Toy Story. My only beef with it is that it does not have a squeaker inside.

In the world of Awesome YouTube videos, today there is a live-action version of "What's Opera, Doc?" (the Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd short that features "KILL THE WABBIT") and the 100 Greatest Movie Insults, which features a quote from The Sandlot ("You bob for apples in the toilet--and you like it!" "You play ball like a GIRL!") that I have always found amusing mostly because of the delivery. And finally: the puppy Great Escape.

Also, I may or may not have gone to see a certain movie that was released within the past twenty-four hours. You cannot prove anything.

Yes. I stopped biting my nails when my wisdom teeth came in. I realized I couldn't get a good enough grip on anything anymore because my teeth got out of line. It's the weirdest thing. Nothing else could make me stop but that did.

But to counter that, I still have a bad habit of picking at scabs. I know it's gross but at the same time, I feel like it's just dead skin. Why not poke it a little?

In the past few days I've gotten hooked on this game called AudioSurf. I keep trying to rack up as many points as possible so that I can get more tracks and stuff.

As I've mentioned briefly before, in my off-time I roleplay, and ever since someone else brought the idea up I have been trying to figure out if I would want to attempt to start a game based on the idea that you create your character around a trope from TV Tropes. I would so love to do that, except I have a history of starting games and the games not taking off and feeling like a massive failure when that happens.

picspammy's challenge of the month was "Something Different", and I wanted to post something for it. I usually picspam celebrities, and initially I was going to post a list (favorite male celebrities of the moment or something like that), but, well, I've done a list spam before. So instead, I started thinking about what makes me happy, and as you all know, without fail, puppies always make me happy.

I am going to be Carmen Sandiego for Halloween. I bought the red trench coat this spring when it was on sale and I just need a red wide-brimmed hat. I've had this costume in mind since last year whenever I saw a red trench at Old Navy, and I remember thinking how cool it would be to pull that off.

I love Halloween, man. I love costumes, so naturally I like the idea of a day when you can wear one and people won't think you're crazy.

Random question: is it normal to have your arm still feel sore hours after getting a flu shot? I bucked up and got one today even though I hate getting shots. I figured that hey, it wouldn't hurt and I work with the public so the tingle wouldn't hurt that bad, right? But my left arm aches in this dull way right now.

I woke up this morning feeling nauseous, not entirely unlike the week this past May when I had possibly the worst pre-finals week ever and felt like I was going to throw up every day. I took Alka-Seltzer, and while I feel 110% better, I have to wonder why those little tablets taste like chugging crushed-up chalk.

Last night, about three of my coworkers were talking as we left our Big Store Meeting, and one of them said, "...and they were playing the Rickroll song!" And then, all three of them started singing the chorus of "Never Gonna Give You Up".

Sometimes I do kind of love my job.

Yesterday when I got off work, I was at Marshall's, and as I was looking at shoes on the clearance racks, I spotted these black stacked heels with cork soles and pink and white flowers on the toe. And then I saw that they were Prada and I was stunned, since I never expected to be within touching distance of anything Prada ever in my life. And they were my size!

So I tried them on, and was able to walk with them. I didn't buy them because A.) I thought they were cute, but just okay, and B.) even though they were clearance, they were still $200.

This week: Love Won't Let Me Wait, Jamie Cullum. I found a video of him singing this on YouTube a few days ago and have been nearly unable to stop listening to it ever since.

This made me lol for real.

Yesterday, I got off work early and I went to Ross and had an "omg great find" moment. I was just going to look around real quick and go, but I started checking the dress racks, and I found quite a few that looked non-tacky and not frumpy. I tried on about eight but left with two: a navy and white 60s mod-type dress that was marked down to $12, and a black lace BCBG dress that was $23, down from its original $130. EEEE. Now I need shoes. (Since when am I this girlie?)
