I am so over winter.
Feb. 4th, 2011 10:38 pmI dared to venture outside today and got in a good walk. It snowed last night and during most of the morning, so there were lots of people out wandering around the snowscape. I was having fun and taking pictures until I got the bright idea to walk under this bridge, and there was lots of runoff from the melting snow/ice, and I wiped out and got my left side drenched and I ended up bruising my palms a little bit. But other than that, it was okay!
And I have some pictures:
The view from the main strip.
This is on the playground at the elementary school across the way. There were some guys having a snowball fight that I didn't get a single good shot of.
A little further down, near the park, a bunch of kids/families were sledding and I kept watching and hoping none of them would end up in the creek below. It could've gone so Little Women, at that part when Amy falls through the ice and Jo and Laurie have to rescue her.
A tree at the park.
While I was at the park I got on the swings and made a video. I don't know why everything's all pink and hazy, that's purely unintentional. At the very end I had to stop because I couldn't swing very well as I had the camera in my right hand and I almost fell over.
