There is nothing worse than having a song you really don't like on constant rotation on your mental radio station. I went into the bookstore about 9:45-ish to see if I could get an algebra book and wouldn't you know it, "My Happy Ending" comes on. So now, a half hour later, I can still hear Avril Lavigne wailing "you were EVER-RE-THING, EVER-RE-THING"... and I can't make it stop. Someone hold me. Please.

I don't know why metaquotes at GJ was deleted, but I'm sad about it. I'm too intimidated to join [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes here, though. I'm a looooser.

They're opening a new drive-in somewhere in my area. That's cool. I have been to a drive-in movie once. In Durham there's one, I think it's called the Starlight. My dad took my brother and two of my cousins there and we saw the move Antz. A few months ago the screen burned down, and the owner is trying to get another one. Drive-ins are cool.

Oh, the notebook update: I sent it to [livejournal.com profile] precioustears first. I can't remember the order I wrote the addresses in, but... I should be able to get that posted when I get home.

I've mentioned that I've been helping my mom at her job a lot. I've pretty much been splitting my time between there, school, and home; however, I've spent more of my time at school and Mom's job than at home. I don't remember what my room looks like anymore--I'm kidding. But anyway, I go in and she leaves the radio tuned to the "smooth jazz" station, which is okay, but sometimes I try to turn it to the oldies station and I can't get it, so it stays on "smooth jazz".

But that's irrelevant. My point is this: pretty much every day I go in there, at one point, they play Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart", and I get reminded of Kevin. It has happened EVERY. DAY. I am not kidding. So with this said, I had another dream in which he showed up (it was a weird dream, by the way.). WHAT IS UP WITH THIS. If this is a sign, does anyone care to explain it to me? Arrrrgh.

Because everyone else is doing it:

Go to yousendit.com and send me a song! [at islikeasong at sbcglobal.net] I'm always up for hearing something interesting and different.

Well, I may have some possible extracurriculars. Everyone be proud of me. The paper is looking for staffers, so next week I'll check that meeting out. But the organization I'm MOST interested in is the League of Fencers. You read right: fencers. I have wanted to try fencing for, like, FOREVER. That meeting's on Wednesday. Squee. I have an overwhelming desire to pretend to be Zorro. And maybe if I get good enough, I'll have a reason (besides photography) to go to the Beijing Olympics (ah to the haha!).

I went and got my pictures from San Antonio/Independence Day/the Degrassi signing developed at Target. I saved a lot of money on them (I had a coupon for 20 free prints; if I hadn't had that I would've had to pay $10), but I'm sad that my sole picture of Daniel Clark is extremely out of focus. Sniff. However, almost everything else was in focus. Mrs. Tomlinson would've been proud. But, most importantly, I found a scrapbook! And it was only $10! Squee squared.

I'm worried about my mom. She's been complaining about a headache for a few days now. I'm worried it's something bad, even though she's had spells like this before. Ugh. I'm too scared to tell her about my varying suspicions about the cause of her headaches, but... too scared. Don't know what to do. I just need a hug. And I want Mom home.

[I made a slight funny in the subject line. Hahahaha.]
