There is a reason that, for awhile, I didn't read message boards in public computer labs. I end up grinning to myself and giggling, sometimes snorting laughing (as I did last year in the school library as I was reading something on TWoP. Can't remember what, though). Yet I STILL do it. I think I secretely long to make people think I'm demented. I mean, it's bad enough I can seem potentially spacey, but to be crazy AND spacey? Waaaah (I'm saying this because the Lost board is my new drug and I cannot be dragged away from it. Slurrrrrrp.).
"Spacey" made me remember the nickname I had for Old Best Friend Katie. She was Spacey (or was it Freaky? Crazy? I can't remember, but Spacey sticks out), and I was Spazzy, as I was constantly "OMG!!!1111!!!!"-ing about something (you can't REALLY verbally "OMG!!!1111!!!!", I know... but well, okay, I was a mix between hyper and super-silly in middle school, and if I typed, everything would've probably come out that way. Yeah.). Hee. Fun times. We also had stupid self-made slang, and "frassy" meant cool. I cannot believe I just admitted that. I just rediscovered that word while skimming over an old journal for some reason, and I had to close it, so ashamed I was of my twelve year old self attempting to come up with new slang. [pulls an ostrich]
So I have one more exam left. Yee. Haw. Or not.
Whenever I finish going through all the transcripts, I'm adding a Lost quotes page to my site.
Is it wrong of me to think that something I wrote is funny? 'Cause I was being silly over at GJ and was babbling about this thing I was watching on the History Channel, and it made me laugh:
Ben Franklin was a playa, yo. [...] See, the History Channel IS good for something! You find out that, in addition to doing important stuff like whatever he did with electricity and helping with the Revolution, Ben Franklin had fangirls! Who knew?!
And then someone at the NaNo boards read my exert from my novel and noted that it was kind of funny how, after the explosions, everyone kept asking this one character about a bump on his head... but that was purely unintentional. Now that I think about it, it is kind of funny...
There is this guy who I kind of sort of met during this party earlier this semester. His name's Elliot. I see him quite a bit. He's cute. The end.
And now, my confession of the day:
The teacher I had for college algebra at the beginning of the semester will be my instructor next semester. I partially signed up for the class because I like his style of teaching... but then there's the fact that he's also young and kind of good-looking. Yeah. I am a massive dork.
