Jul. 23rd, 2006 12:04 amI have had the best late dinner ever. My mom went to IHOP and got my dad and herself the funnel cake meal or whatever, and she got full, so I got to eat the funnel cake and have the hash browns. I totally would've had the eggs, if they didn't make me sick.
I love scrambled eggs--I just can't eat them any more, because I have an aversion to them. It's too mild to be an allergy, but basically, I can't eat eggs unless they're in something else. Which sucks.
I finally got around to finishing Doing It today. I got the book back in May, and I'd been reading bits and pieces of it since then. I kind of think that I liked Life As We Know It better than the book. It wasn't as if the novel was terrible, but I felt the characters were a bit more likable on the show. Dino was a bigger jerk in the book, and the situation with Ben and the teacher was more complicated. The subplots that were in the first couple of episodes (Dino's mom's affair, Jonathan and Deborah, Jonathan thinking he had cancer, Zoe) were in there, and I almost missed a bunch of them. But yeah. At least I have the cool hardcover version, British spellings and all. Thank you, Half Price Books!
I finished writing in one of my journals today. I was almost done with one this January--I'd been writing in that one since the end of June last year. Now I'm semi-on journal three of this year. Journal three (#23 of all my journals, total, I think) is kind of small and only has eighty pages, but it's cute and has stripes on it. I will be decorating that one more than I did with the others. Whee.
