OH, DUUUUUDE. Salute Your Shorts is being properly released on DVD?! WOW.
I don't think I've mentioned this in a long, long time (and I'm not about to go back and search this journal for any mention of it), but: when I was about seven or eight, I loved Salute Your Shorts. That show, along with Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown and that Baby-Sitters Club Super Special where they go to Camp Mohawk, made me want to go to summer camp*. And, well, for some unknown reason, I had a massive crush on Budnick. I remember telling my soccer team mates this one day during practice when they were all talking about Jonathan Taylor Thomas (HE WAS AN ANSWER ON JEOPARDY TODAY. LMAO), and when I said that, they all looked at me and then laughed. I can't blame them now. HE HAD A MULLET.
...though now that I think about it, I think this might somewhat explain why I like Sawyer on Lost.
( And now, an aside that actually got way too long. )
Oh, wow, this is giving me cracked-out ideas for Script Frenzy. I was going to write three episodes for a vampire apocalypse series, but now I kind of want to write something about camp.
