enamoured: the starry-eyed emoticon: *_* (all the time in the world)
Earlier today I was reading psychotherapy and found this article, which talks about how we tend to remember first experiences with more clarity. It's made me think about some of my firsts--the obvious ones and the ones I remember but don't always list as biggies.

Like, my first concert was the Backstreet Boys on September 6, 1998 at the former Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh, North Carolina, and I can even remember what I wore to it (black corduroy overalls, a white BOSS t-shirt, black Airwalks, and for some reason one of my dad's camouflage caps). I can still remember that day pretty well, but ask me about what I wore when I saw Duran Duran in 2005, and I don't remember. I don't remember the names of a bunch of my professors from college but I remember Ms. Neidenbach, my kindergarten teacher and Ms. Gloria and Ms. Crystal, my pre-k teachers. I still have vivid memories of my first school dance (I wore the same overalls that I wore to the BSB concert to that dance, actually) and I can't remember my first real crush on a boy at school, but I do remember Tommy, the red-haired boy I was in love with in first grade. I don't remember my first day of college in detail, but I remember my last day of high school.

So, what do you remember really well?
