This is a very silly post, with a few things that I posted to Tumblr.

March 21: It is times like this that I look at my searches and go, ALL RIGHT TUMBLR, YOU WIN. YOU HAVE TAKEN OVER MY LIFE. I AM DRIVEN TO GOOGLE THE ORIGINS OF THIS PHRASE. OF COURSE. I QUIT. )

April 17: I was trying to type a new message to someone on my buddy list, and this is what happened instead. )

And then this story:
May 14: I forgot I set up a network to my brother's laptop.
A minute ago I was looking at his music collection and amid all of the rap songs were two Third Eye Blind songs. I still remember when we were kids and he loved "Semi-Charmed Life", and our parents wouldn't let him buy the album.

He also went through this period when he really liked "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)", so much to the point that he had the CD single. He later gave it to me when I became a huge BSB fan and he became embarrassed to own it.

He also liked that song "Are You Jimmy Ray?" and had the single on CD as well. After a few months we both decided that we hated the song, so we decided to wreck the CD. First we used Sharpie all over the back, and we put it in a stereo to see if it would still play.

It did.

Next, we got a safety pin and scratched up the back. We put it back in the stereo. It still played.

At this point, we were kind of confused. Somehow, one of us found a box cutter and we started slashing and scratching up the back of that CD, figuring that somehow it had to break.

When we put it back in the stereo and it still played perfectly fine, we decided that the CD was possessed and buried it deep in the kitchen trash can.
