enamouredApparently, my parents can still surprise me on Christmas. In addition to the stuff I bought with the money, my parents got me a black leather jacket, pajamas, and a bathrobe. My mom especially gave me a charmbracelet (it was a little too small), three pairs of toe socks, and $100. My brother gave me a Homer Simpson lamp. Hahaha. Fun. It would've been nice to get the Lisa one, though.
I listened to the Joss Stone CD--it's called The Soul Sessions. I highly reccomend it. I first heard of her on one of those You Heard It First pieces on MTV, and I think they played a little bit of her doing "Fell in Love With a Boy", her cover of The White Stripes' "Fell in Love With a Girl". I saw the CD at Target and was intrigued. The album's all covers, and she sings well. The whole thing's great, except that "For the Love of You" is a slow version, not at all like the original Isley Brothers version that I love. It's good, but it just drags. But yeah. Definately buy that disk.
I've finished three of the seven books I checked out from the library. Go me.
