Everyone's reflecting on what they did this year, and I decided to do that, in the best way I could: making a list.

Twenty-five things I did this year. In no particular order.

1. Was in two talent shows where I didn't win anything. (February)
2. Got inducted into Quill and Scroll. (May)
3. Took drivers' ed. (July)
4. Fell in love with a geeky!hot guy on American Idol. (April-May)
5. Got a subscription to CosmoGirl after being a reader for about three years. (December)
6. Failed my driver's test twice. (first in September, then in October)
7. Went to Memphis. (March)
8. Fell in love with Degrassi. (June-July)
9. Saw my favorite singer ever live. (August)
10. Started senior year. (August)
11. Fell off my scooter. (June)
12. Didn't get a job at Six Flags—AGAIN. (February)
13. Hurt my knee as I danced to "Lady Marmelade". (February)
14. Went to three banquets. (May)
15. Actually had a semi-good time in school. (January-May)
16. Fell in love with biking. (June)
17. Tried out for the musical, and didn't make callbacks. (November)
18. Made macaroni and cheese by myself for the first time. (November)
19. Got a huge crush on a guy who's two years younger than I am. (August)
20. Got the flu. (November)
21. Worried about the war. (March)
22. Got a cell phone. (April)
23. Mourned losing one of the best friends I've ever had—not literally; but I lost her anyway. (October)
24. Saw The Breakfast Club for the first time. (September)
25. Turned eighteen. (December)

I'm so unexciting.

My dad wants to go to Watchnight. service. (it's a ritual in my church; you go to service on New Years' Eve.) I don't really want to go. I did like it when I was younger, when we'd go to Christmas Eve service. It was ritual--go to the service around nine or so, and about eleven the TV newspeople would run the Santa watch. We never did go to Watchnight, though. We were always a Dick Clark family. Well, either Dick Clark or watching the acorn in Raleigh drop on CBS or NBC. (backstory: in Raleigh, NC, at their New Years' thing, they drop an acorn. Don't ask me why--I lived in NC fourteen years and I still wasn't able to find out.)

Anway. Happy (early) new year. In a few hours the year I'll graduate in will start, and it better not suck, yo.

I thought mine was the only city to drop strange, edible objects on New Year's!

We drop a pear. And I don't know why either.

I've seen the others but I STILL haven't seen The Breakfast Club! My sister owns it, but I can never seem to get her to let me borrow it, I'll try again. lol. We'll keep this a secret between you and I though, the whole, not viewing of the movie until like, well whenever I do! ;)

Glad your year was good, and I hope next year is even better! =)

Oh, word to the Dick Clark thing, lol. I don't know if the church I'm attending has a NYE service. (In the middle of switching churches).
