I did something today that I should've done a long time ago.

Back when I got my new furniture, I had to take all the books off my bookshelf and I put them in a laundry basket. I also had this large plastic box that was full of stuff from my freshman and sophomore years that was in DESPERATE need of throwing out. So I cleaned it out and got rid of all these papers and put my books (a few of which are rathered battered now, like the Tales from Third Grade books by Candice F. Ransom--I LOVED those books! And they're starting to get that "old book" smell--that slightly musky smell that older books get.) into the plastic container, so now we have two big laundry baskets again.

And now there are papers and catalogs and magazines from the box all over the floor and I have NO clue where I can put them...

I miss the rest of my Baby-Sitters Club books.

Sigh. To watch the new season of American Idol or to not watch? That is the question.

I need to take a shower.

One last thing: THE CAROLINA PANTHERS ARE FREAKING GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL! AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE! They got SOCLOSE a few years ago, but they didn't make it. And they're GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL! I'm not much of a sports fan, but I WILL root for the Panthers and the Hurricanes when neccesary. GO CAROLINA, GOOOOO.

Dude! I *so* remember the Tales from the Third Grade books. They were so cool! I only had the first three (the original, whose binding fell apart because I read it too much, sadly, the one about the gymnastics school they set up in Amber's [I think that's her name?] basement, and then the Valentine's one, which I think was titled "Why are boys so weird?"...how appropriate.) Those were great. <3 nostalgia.

And you must watch AI! Because the show that produced the greatness that is the Aiken had two really good male singers who also reminded me of him on tonight. They both sang older-style songs and were both *very* good. So watch! There won't be a Clay II, but there's some promising ones. :)

yeah, I remember the one about the gymnastics school. That was the first one I read!

And I never got the Valentine's one! I always wanted it but I could never find it. :(
