I have a sudden desire to see the second Mighty Ducks movie. I loved that movie when I was younger. The first one was okay, and the third one was too, but the second one just has this appeal to me that I can't explain. I was really crazy about it in third and fourth grade, and I kept saying that my school should get a hockey team. Man, those were good times. [insert giggles here]

I entered a poem in the Live Poets Society scholarship contest, and while I haven't gotten the scholarship, I got picked as one of the Topical Winners. Go me. It was this poem I wrote as a sophomore about the sticky Josh situation. Yeaaah. If you want to see it, I'll post it.

Stupid question: do you get charged on your cell service if you do a phone post?

I think phone posts are just considered regular phone calls, so probably not. You have to have a paid account on LJ to do it though, so you're definitely paying something to someone.

My sister and I were extras in D3: The Mighty Ducks, as they taped a good chunk of the movie about 20 minutes from here.

You can see my sister clearly at the very end of the movie. She's behind the glass in a varsity letterman's jacket jumping up and down. Very proud of her, we are.

We also got to attend the premiere party. Fun that was :)

What?!?!? No hockey team? That's like sac-religous to us people from up north. Yes, your school should get a team. and I love the mighty ducks movies. I like to watch them when I'm feeling blue. they cheer me up. ;)
