I'm hopelessly taken by you...
Mar. 26th, 2004 08:36 pmOh wow, I must get this! I LOVE just about anything Peanuts. It'd be neat to have a collection of all the strips. However, I do think it'd cost an arm and a leg to buy those books over the next twelve years. Hello, family and significant others for special occasions presents. My favorite comic. When I found out Charles Shultz was retiring, I collected EVERY article about his retirement and I cried when he ended up dying the day before the last strip came out. I always wanted to send him a fan letter and thank him for providing me with lots of entertainment from the time I could read, and also for the specials and for providing me with some of my favorite fictional characters ever. But... I never did.
Okay, enough of the sappy Peanuts talk.
I went bowling with Sara this afternoon. Fun fun fun. I won the first game, and she won the second one. Then I played some video games (how could they NOT have Ms. Pac Man there???), then my dad picked us up and took Sara home. Whee.
When I get a job, here's some things I want to buy:
--that John Cusack Sixteen Candles t-shirt.
--Sixteen Candles on video.
--ABBA's greatest hits CD.
--the horizontal Breakfast Club poster.
--a DVD player.
--a new CD player that's, you know, not skip-proof.
--frames for the Breakfast Club poster and for my Moulin Rouge poster.
