I'm feeling a little sleepy.

My goofy testimonial on the front page of GreatestJournal. After the day I've had, insignificant things like that actually cheer me up.
To repeat something I said at said GreatestJournal: Someday, I'd love to see a teen mag for the anti-girlie girls. There'd be models from different sizes (and I mean this--hi, size 16 girl here), no excessive spreads on makeup and fashion, short stories, DIY tips, crossword puzzles, snarky columns from real girls, tips on how to take over the world, an extensive music/TV/movie section, a couple pages soley dedicated to important things like how to do easy repairs on your car, politics, and tips on studying for the SATs and stuff like that. I'd make the ultimate nerdy girl teen mag. And inside, I would slightly borrow an idea from CosmoGirl and include a steamy pinup of some hottie du jour--a half-nekkid hottie du jour.
Half of it's in jest, but the other half is true. What about the girls who aren't really totally into makeup and fashion? What about those of us who prefer books and seeing what other girls want to do? What about those of us who actually want to change the world and not just live in it? And what about those of us who are a little on the socially awkward side? We need to be reassured that we're not freaks and that there's others like us. I've had an idea for a title for said magazine for the longest time, but I won't say it aloud--even though it's a common word--because I don't want anyone to steal it from me, if, someday, I decide to actually go into the magazine business.
So I have until Wednesday to get the draft from my paper and turn it in. Thank God. I don't like almost hypervenilating.
How come nothing good comes on TV on Monday nights? I'm not much of a football fan, so this is a dead night for me.
In less than a month I'll be nineteen. Um, huh?
