so don't cry, one day all seven will die.
Dec. 13th, 2004 10:19 pmI finally get the program, and I can't figure out how to load Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro on my PC! Waaaaaaaah.
sparklingjadex, err, could you help a not-so-bright gal out? (I'll be on AIM in a few minutes; JLBGotBack!)
In the meantime: I want too many DVD box sets. I don't have enough money to fund that. Le sob et le sniffle.
I have decided to treat myself to two of my self-bought Christmas presents early. I finished the first one yesterday. I got this book at B&N's called Vamped--because really, who can resist a story about a vampire who opts not to kill a young mortal girl but raises her? I started reading it Saturday night and finished it yesterday afternoon. I'm going to let Tiffany borrow it. The second present I'm treating myself to? Say Anything on DVD. I keep missing it every time it comes on TV, and the only way I must fix my not-seeing-it is to watch it. So there's another thing to do with Tiffany (Me: My mom's going to be mad at me for opening all this stuff early! But...! Tiffany: But it's John Cusack!).
I'm a nerd. And I want a t-shirt that says so. I also still really want that Oceanica t-shirt at Glarkware. [wallows]
Now, let's play that wonderful guessing game!
--use "shuffle play" on your playlist.
--list 25 lyrics.
--whoever guesses correctly gets $5. I kid, I kid.
1. I get off early from work if you say that you love me
2. He's just plain stupid with a stubborn streak
3. But I don't do this type of thing all the time
4. Then the phone rings, I hear you
5. When we made love, you used to cry, you said "I love you like the stars above, I'll love you 'til I die."
6. You are here, and so am I, maybe millions of people go by
7. Mama tells me I shouldn't bother, that I ought to stick to another man, a man that surely deserves me
8. The top is high, so your roots are forgotten
9. So close now, it's close now
10. I always wanted a real home, with flowers on the windowsill
11. You've got your ball, you've got your chain tied to me tight, tie me up again
12. Don't ever let another take her love from me or I will surely die
13. I know your name, I know your skin, I know the way these things begin
14. I hear you whispering the words, melt everyone, but you stay so cool.
15. Hide behind your smile, all the world loves a clown.
16. I can love you in the shower, both of our bodies dripping wet
17. We'll always have time on our sides, and now it's fading fast
18. Whatcha gonna do? I'm gonna live my life
19. Baby, I don't wanna hurt nobody, but there's something I must confess
20. Her dreams went out the door when she turned twenty-four
21. Hurt that's not supposed to show and tears that fall when no one knows
22. She only comes out at night, the lean and hungry type
23. But like heaven above me, the spy who loved me is keeping all my secrets safe tonight
24. If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it
25. Stand in the way of love and we will smote them all with their intellect and savoir faire

Date: 2004-12-14 11:42 pm (UTC)now, I left my PSP disc in my computer at home so I can't help out with PSP installation, but since I have my Photoshop disc with me, here's the steps in installing Photoshop (it should work for Windows, but I'm not sure about Macs.)
1. copy the Photoshop to a place you'd remember, like the desktop.
2. double click to run the self-extractor
3. extract to Program Files and wait for the extraction to finish as the folder Photoshop will be created there.
4. click on the program 'Setup' that has the computer shaped icon and you should be good to go!
I believe Paint Shop follows a similar procedure, but that's how I got Photoshop onto my computer. Hope that helps. :)
