I am at the public library, and when I go, I will be checking out six books. Most of them are books I've been wanting to read for forever, but havent been able to because they were in hardback (and hardback books are too expensive, yo) or because they were previously checked out and stuff. But yeah. For the first time ever, I've become worried about reading six books in two weeks, 'cause, you know, classes and stuff. But reading material is always good. If they'd had Girls in Pants, the last Mediator book, and the fifth Princess Diaries book, I would be in so much trouble.

Stupid review for the book Doing It, on which Life As We Know It (SNIIIIIIIF) is based on: Did anyone else notice that this book is EXACTLY like the tv show "life as we know it" on abc? i mean exactly...is the show based on the book or something? the characters have the same name, the plot
is pretty much the same, and all in all its pretty much the exact same thing...don't get me wrong..its a good book and a worthwhile read...kinda drags at time though with useless details

My pastor sent me something for a paid internship this summer. PAID. But it's all summer long. And I don't know if I want to commit to it. I mean, yes, MONEY! and all that good stuff, but... [sighs] I think I had a point and it got lost somewhere.

ooh! I've been on a YA binge lately. ( Which is strange! I usually can't bring myself to read them, as most of them are awful!)

and I just finished Alt Ed, which is essentially a watered down Breakfast Club ( especially the last page!)
and I am currently reading Holly's Secret and Rainbow Boys (plus the sequel, Rainbow High)
I got a few more..let me think... Jay's Journal, which is the same concept as Go Ask Alice ( which is amazing)
I also got "The Not So It Girl" which has a picture of a girls booty on the front and amused me so!

well, I just thought I'd tell you since I know you're into the YA books and such, tell me if you know of any I might like, as I am very much enjoying the fact that they are simple to read and you can get through one a day , and not have to have a dictionary to read them ( I admit I have a problem with not knowing words. my vocab sucks, what can i say)

Hah, My vocab sucks too!

I remember when I used to be really into "Gail Carson Levines's books" and she used a LOT of big words, so ever other sentence I'd have to look something up.

*sigh* But then I grew out of fantasy slightly and more into YA sorta stuff....

There's this book called How I Live Now by Meg Ronsoff that I finished reading last night. I managed to plow through two books last night, yay for me! [g] And I haven't finished the rest of them yet, so I could brief you when I'm done.
