May. 6th, 2005 01:56 pmI am happy now, because I went to the grocery store and bought myself a carton of chocolate milk and some of the crunchy granola bars I like. Yay, food!
I am mad because my finals have two days separating them. The speech final is on the day for all the Monday/Wednesday 9:30 to 10:50 classes, on Monday. Then there's my history final, which is on the day for all the Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 to 10:50 classes--Thursday. Not fair, yo. [sniffs]
I fell asleep on our couch last night, and since then the History Channel has been on. I have an irrational love of the History Channel. I've been watching Dead Men's Secrets since about 11 this morning.
RANDOM QUESTION: what are some of your favorite fonts? Decorative, plain, sans-serif, so on.
For general purposes, I like Arial, Verdana, and Tahoma. For decorative, I like Scribble (the one used in the "yes... oh yes" icon), Jenkins 2.0, Bitch Cakes, and Wendy Medium.
I ask because I'm looking for new places to get fonts. I love Da Font, but I'm wondering where else I can get neat fonts, especially scripty ones or easy-to-read print handwriting-type fonts.
PS: Will take requests for icons. Want something to do as I put off studying (well, it's OKAY! I know practically all I need to know for the history exam, just need to read the last few chapters, and besides, that exam's on THURSDAY! [g]).
