Aug. 4th, 2005 02:19 pmLast night I slept over at Tiffany's, as the AC guy didn't come yesterday. He's SUPPOSED to be coming today--this evening, if I believe what my dad's told me. Either way, all I know is if my room's not back to its wonderfully climate-controlled ways before the end of the week, I'm gonna empty my bank account and buy a one-way ticket to Fairbanks, Alaska. I'd have to eventually come back once it gets cold, but I certainly wouldn't mind waiting out the rest of my summer there.
Went to register for classes yesterday. I'm taking five classes this semester: a computer class, philosophy, English, government, and music appreciation. Yay. But the thing that sucks is that after this semester I'll only have thirty-something credits, and I need to get sixty-one. And I still have to go and figure out what will and won't transfer. Gah.
I'm at the library right now, per my dad's reccomendation. I might end up leaving with four books, and at the end of the day I will have twelve library books out. I still have to finish two from last week's library run. I can't help it. They have a bunch of books I'd longingly been eyeing at Barnes and Noble. And with this batch, I have Away Laughing on a Fast Camel (one of the Georgia Nicholson books) and Girls in Pants (the third Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants book).
And so ends this tale o' woe. Perhaps more later--when I'm not being timed.
