Tomorrow we shall celebrate, for THAT IS WHEN CHOCOLATE IS HALF-PRICE.
Today was insanely long. I did not go to sleep until like 3 AM, which was admittedly due to my own stupidity, and then I woke up at 7:40 so I could get some more footage for the story I had to do for reporting. I got back to school only to find that I didn't save my files in the right format and I had a minor fit until I used Zamzar to convert them and edit. So I dropped that off in the class dropbox only for it to NOT WORK, so I had to reedit the footage and after that it took us approximately five millennia to go on air.
I came home after class to try to nap for a minute and then left for the movies and saw Sixteen Candles (AMC had a special showing of it today and yesterday), and still felt my heart kind of jump a little when all the cars pull away at the church and there's Jake Ryan. It was really fun, actually, as there were some moms there with their teenage daughters who might've been seeing the movie for the first time, and a row behind me there were two women who were probably in their thirties/early forties and quoting entire scenes under their breath and giggling, and couples of all ages. I debated on not going because I was so tired but I'm glad that I did.
And now I think I'm finally starting to crash for real, so I am going to go and take a shower.
