Remember how freaked out I was about that critique a few days ago? GUESS WHAT: I MISREAD THE CALENDAR. Crit's not 'til next Tuesday!

This is what a lack of sleep will do to you, I swear.

In the meantime, this weekend I'm pretty free. I have some stuff to shoot for my film class, my sculpture project to finish, and an honors society meeting.

I really need to clean my room too, and eventually get into cleaning my closet. There's just random crap in there--including a box that I found that had old birthday/Valentine's Day cards. I found that today and marveled at them. Lots were from family members (including one card from my dad's parents. It's the only card I still have from both of them) and a ton were from former classmates who I haven't heard from/thought of in years.

With the valentines, I found a card from a girl named Ruth. It was a simple paper heart, with "Candice: Do they have Valentine's Day on YOUR planet?" written on it. I honestly have no idea why I found that card among all the others. I hated that girl. She was totally that stereotypical mean girl who was inexplicably popular, all five foot nothing feet of her. I got bullied by girls who were shorter than me through most of my pre-high school years. I don't even know why.

Anyway. I think I'm gonna go listen to "Suit & Tie" another hundred times because I can't get enough of it.
