I am certain that someone might be going to hell for this, but it is amusing. 10 Things I Hate About Commandments. I would embed it, since LJ is now all fine with the YouTube linkage, but for some reason, when people embed YouTube videos to their LJs I can never view them. I see the screen, but the play time is always at 0:00, and nothing plays. But anyway.

Oh! House and Wilson, set to the Pinky and the Brain theme song. This should not be amusing, but it is. And: I want those DVDs.

I'm feeling better today, except that there are way too many things that I want to buy at Old Navy (they have an awesome pair of boots I want, plus they have SWEATER VESTS and this makes me irrationally happy, and oh yeah, this one pinstriped messenger bag), and I haven't finished paying for the stuff I already have on layaway elsewhere. I got Entertainment Weekly with Samuel L. Jackson on the cover yesterday, and I saw John Tucker Must Die as well. The ending was lame.

So I went looking for videos from Pop Up Video on YouTube, and they have a few. I totally miss that show. I've tried to think of videos that have been released in the past few years that I would've loved to see on it, and I managed to come up with a short list:

--Maroon 5's "This Love". The unedited-with-stupid-flowers version. They could insert a comment about how the love between Adam Levine and his then-girlfriend (who was in the video) didn't last.
--Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me a River". COME ON NOW. This would be a goldmine.
--Britney Spears's "Toxic".
--Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together", for the Wentworth Miller-ness.

Anything to add to the list?

And then there were plenty of videos that I wanted to see pop-up versions of back in the day, but never were. Sad face!

I kinda want to know how John Tucker ends.

And I've been watching the World Series of Pop Culture and I'm PISSED because I KNOW SO MANY OF THOSE ANSWERS OMG. Actual conversation:
Me: ...and I totally swept the floor with the categories about rap songs and drag queens. What does that tell you?
Jason: You need professional help and maybe some time outside of the house.

I saw the ET cover over in ONTD. That movie is going to be so bad it's good. I've been using SNAKES ON A PLANE as a verb/adjective/noun. It's a great conversation starter...or a way to get people to look at you really funny.

I always wanted to see a Pop-Up Video of one of those stereotypical rap videos. I don't know why.

I think the new Xtina video for "Aint No Other Man" would be a good one.

I was just thinking that "Ain't No Other Man" would be a good Pop Up Video. And maybe "Dirrty"--if they didn't already make one (I think the show ended in 2002, so it could've made the cut off).

I've seen that "10 Commandents" thing before, but it hasn't stopped being funny yet. And the House one is hi-larious.

I miss Pop Up Video as well. It'd be great to see what they'd have to say about some of the newer videos these days.
