I should no longer be surprised by what can be found on the internet, but:
badeyebrows. DEAR SWEET GOD. Mine do not look that bad, and to see how bad it COULD be, just go. The straight line girl had me howling for about an hour straight.
I think that my word of the week is discombobulated, because I've felt so since Saturday. I caught the epic cold to end all colds--the kind that came with fever-like symptoms (body aches, runny nose, itchy red eyes) but without a temperature spike. I was miserable at work and growing increasingly more annoyed whenever some guy would come up to me and be all, "SMILE!" My appendages feel like they are going to swell and fall off, I don't really feel like smiling, thanks. It got so bad that I called out on Sunday and spent the better part of that day and Monday on the couch watching TV (I dozed through bits of the Dirty Jobs marathon).
Tuesday, I had class, but I got on campus about... three hours early. Yeah. And then on Wednesday, I missed my bowling class, which made me most distressed because I was so ready to get my bowl on. And today, I was on time and everything and I think I am going to really, really like communication law.
On the people front: I have run into three people I know thus far. This girl I knew from journalism in high school (who I didn't recognize at first, and she came over to me and was all, "Hi! How are you?" and I just tried to play it off and said, "Good! Kind of sick, but good! Who are you again?" The second was a guy I took French with. And the third, yesterday, was Blonde Bond. Unh. That is all I can possibly sanely say about that.
In other news: I cleaned my room (finally) and I put up some posters--the Supernatural one I ordered from Amazon back in May, and two new ones, this one and this one. Tomorrow I'm probably going to go and try and get more (the store I got those two at is called Entertainmart and it is ELECTRONICS/ENTERTAINMENT CRACK. Used and new CDs, DVDs, video games, and iPods, and a veritable assload of posters!), including this one, which is too cool for words. My only complaint is that the Casino Royale one refuses to stay on the wall for some reason. The edges keep rolling up on me.
(Okay, can't decide which Pirates poster to get. A, B, or C?)
