Dear sweet Lord, there is this girl in my broadcast writing class who is probably one of the dumbest people I have been acquainted with. She complains about "not getting it" when she sleeps through class. She does not get that it is impossible for the internet to be regulated. I know that for some people, the idea that no one really owns the internet and to monitor it and keep all the hateful, awful, and just plain wrong stuff that shows up on it off can seem impossible, but even if you break it down and attempt to explain that it would be the equivalent of, oh, a large city's entire police force going to every residential home in the country and checking to make sure that they don't have illegal drugs or Mayan voodoo dolls or bootleg movies they bought from the flea market and they still don't get it? I'm thinking there's not much gray matter up there.

This girl totally fits the stupid sorority girl stereotype. Because she is a blazing moron.

Speaking of sororities: since I might be furthering my education for three more years, for some reason I keep thinking about possibly pledging for some reason. My mom would bring it up sometimes, but whenever she'd ask if I wanted to do it, I said no. I don't know.
