Here's a question for you: what's the shallowest reason you've had for watching a TV show/movie?

I started watching Supernatural because I thought Jensen Ackles was hot. I wasn't going to see Casino Royale until I saw the trailer and Daniel Craig on the beach. And now, I am considering watching Friday Night Lights 'cause I think that that one guy is kind of hotish.

...I am so, so sorry. I mean, women are prone to griping about how men are so shallow and all, right? Yet here I am basing my viewing choices solely on how attractive the characters are. At least I give the show a chance and if I like the plot, I stick with it and dump it when it's not fun anymore. Right?

Oh! I rented disk one of the first season of How I Met Your Mother on a whim and I like it. Barney is THE BEST.

Random news from school: in Intro to Mass Comm, one of my fellow classmates brought in his guitar and sang for us, and he did two/three John Mayer songs.

You should totally watch FNL, not only because Taylor Kitcsh is super hot (SEE! I KNOW!), but the show is good. (Not that he's a bad reason to watch.)

Um, I started watching SGA because one year at Comic Con, I saw a really hot guy walking down the hallway and turned around and followed him. Turns out, he had this new Stargate show starting that fall. I was all over that.

And Bones. Because David Boreanaz OWNS me. He's hot, he's tall, and he smells REALLY FREAKING GOOD.

You should watch both Friday Night Lights and How I Met Your Mother. Friday Night Lights is the best written drama on tv, hands down. And How I Met Your Mother is the best 3 camera comedy on tv.

And I don't think it's wrong to watch a show for shallow reasons. It's not like you're at the park with signs rating men as they walk by... though that sounds like fun.
