I just got the most random idea ever today during my lunch break. I saw some movie ticket stubs on the ground in the parking garage at the mall, and it reminded me of all the ticket stubs I've kept over the years. So I thought about scanning them and taking notes on them--like how much the tickets were, who I remember seeing the movie with, that kind of thing, and maybe making it into a blog or an LJ community or something. I've been itching to have a thing kind of like that--I had a entertainment journal at GJ for a while that was filled with gossip and random rants and tangents and reviews, but then I kind of abandoned it.

(Randomly: I always feel like there's this weird unspoken line in my journal, because I talk about real-life stuff and entertainment stuff, and I wonder if I go over the line too much. In that, I mean, do I talk too much about my own life or do I talk too much about pop culturey things? Does anyone care either way, so long as I'm--or, well, all of us overall--are talking?)

One Sentence! [loves on] I like the following sentence, and I will have to find a way to use it in something someday:

When I got back the textbook I loaned him, I flipped through every page hoping for a love note hidden in the margins.

You always link to the coolest websites. I won't be going to bed for at least another 30 minutes. :)

I collect ticket stubs, too! My oldest one is from the first X-Men film back in 2000! Your idea for a new comm/blog sounds mighty interesting.

I've been keeping my ticket stubs since sometime in the 1990's, I can't remember exactly when I started. Hmm. Should check that out. I think making notes on them is a lovely idea. I know sometimes I get nostalgic looking back at them in my scrapbooks because it reminds me of the people I went to see it with or the job I was in at the time, especially if I went to the film to escape work drama or hassle.

I like all your entries as well. I never thought you went over the line in one respect or another.

I've never saved movie stubs, but now wish I had. Especially the ones from every movie I've seen with Shane.. that'd have been a great gift idea at a later anniversary. Or even for our first!

Oh! A movie ticket blog sounds fun!

I like the mixture of RL and pop culturey stuff. Keeps it light but not too light.
