I spent approximately $210 on Friday and Saturday.

How a Good Chunk of My Check Disappeared in a Weekend:
1. I had to get gas. That was something like... $25.

2. At lunch, I took $40 out of an ATM at the mall, and since I'm not a member of the bank I took the money out of, there was a $2 service fee. (I bought stuff with the cash, but that doesn't count.)

3. Bought lunch at Chick-Fil-A. $6.

4. After work, I went to the art supply store to buy the stuff I didn't already have for my drawing fundamentals class. The total was something like, $82, and I keep thinking, After I am done with this class, I will probably never use this stuff again, OH MY GOD.

5. I saw Hamlet 2 (ticket was $9.25--I miss when the theater at the mall had student tickets all the time instead of just on Thursdays; student tickets were $7.50), which was okay. It wasn't as funny as I thought it'd be, but the songs were EPIC. And by that I mean that if "Rock Me, Sexy Jesus" isn't nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars I'm gonna knife someone (kidding, but yeah, it's funny. And I can't stop singing "RAPED IN THE FAAAAACE!" to myself at odd intervals).

6. Went to Entertainmart and bought Heathers on DVD and All-4-One's And the Music Speaks on CD. Like I said here, I totally associate that album with being a kid, and I was on a '90s R&B nostalgia binge last week for some reason (I played Monica's CD, the one with "The Boy is Mine" on Thursday night when I went to IHOP after work with some people--I ate crepes and this guy from another department let me have his hash browns, yum) and really wanted to hear it in full.

Y'all, that album is epically cheesy. Talking about it elsewhere, I said, "I mean, there's cheese you enjoy and cheese that makes you cringe a little, and every song on there but 'I Can Love You Like That'* errs on the cringeworthy scale of cheese." But anyway, the total for the DVD and the CD was $16.

7. On Saturday, I had to get more gas (I didn't fill all the way up on Friday and after going to the art store and the movies, I was left with half a tank), so that was another $30.

8. I got lunch at Chick-Fil-A at the mall again (only this time, just fries and tea, so $3). On the way to Chick-Fil-A, I overheard a teenage boy (there were a bunch of high schoolers there, presumably on a band trip as they were all wearing purple polo shirts with music notes on them) talking about getting "the most bodaciously awesome blowjob". I nearly fell over laughing en route to get my chicken and fries.

Oh, hey, neat news, though. Nickelodeon and Amazon have struck a deal to do Burn on Demand. They are going to offer up several Nicktoons for order! YAY!

YAY, GOSSIP GIRL! How I have missed you! And: ugh, Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist. I couldn't get through the book. I like Rachel Cohn and David Levithan individually as authors, but their collaborations just leave me cold. Nick and Nora (the book) was so annoying to me, and I still can't believe that they made a movie about it.

*: of course, your cringeworthy miles may vary.

1. How dare you taunt your Chick-Fil-A having to me. You know I love it and the closest one is in northern Massachusetts somewhere. :(

2. I think I have that All-4-One cd. I would have totally mailed that to you for free. (I think that's further proof that I don't throw away anything ever.)

3. Crepes!

4. You need to see this blog, and understand that I do not do these sorts of things on cakes: http://cakewrecks.blogspot.com/

That is all.

Nick and Nora actually looked cute to me, but I didn't know it was based on a book.
