Look, I have had my share of crushes on Boys in Books, but I still do not get the appeal of Edward Cullen. HE IS BORING. HE IS NOT A BAD BOY. Somewhere, on the fictional character plane, Marcus Flutie is rolling his eyes at Edward, and Mr. Darcy and all those other characters that SMeyer said were < Ed are all, "Bitch, please" at him.

IKR? I talked about Twilight with a friend and I started talking about the lulz and I found out she's a serious business fan. Now she sends me bumper stickers that say things like "Edward is my boyfriend" and "Edward Cullen is the perfect man." I've started to send her stickers that say things like "I would have picked the werewolf" and "Nothing says love like removing the engine from her car." She didn't get it.
(As an aside, I would have picked the werewolf. shortie86112 and I had a serious discussion about this while telling someone else about Twilight. Boy who actually cares about you>sparkle peen. It's all I'm saying. This is, of course, before Jacob imprinted on a fetus and became the ultimate get for "To Catch a Predator.")
Mr. Darcy could kick Edward's prissy scrapbooking ass with one hand tied behind his back. Marcus Flutie would just roll his eyes at him and mock him on the phone with Jess (who is an actual role model, girls. She's flawed just like you!).

Honestly, the only thing good about Edward Cullen is who's playing him in the movie, and besides being hot, Robert Pattinson has expressed all sorts of disdain for the character, which makes me love him.
