I hate when you have completely irrational reactions to something. I got my screenplay critiqued today, and I started tearing up--not because everyone was like, "You suck" or whatever, but for no good reason. I kept rubbing my eyes and blaming my allergies and generally getting very embarrassed by the whole thing. Has that ever happened to you? The completely irrational bodily reaction to something, I mean.

I'm like this all the time. I hate it, because it's not like I'm emotionally upset or anything... and I'm so obvious when I cry too - pink cheeks, red eyes, stuffy nose... it's awful!

I cry on a hair trigger. It's not that I'm sensitive to critique, it's just one thing and then I'm gone, and it's the red eyes, puffy pink cheeks, cracked voice crying.

Ugh this happens to me too, and I don't even have to generally be sad that day. I just start crying like a lunatic over the silliest things.
