Tuesday, waiting for it to cool off some.
Jun. 2nd, 2009 04:27 pmGuys. I have not worn a bathing suit since I was like, twelve or thirteen (honest to God), yet when I look at some of the suits here, I am filled with a sudden desire to go to the beach. Best of all? The seller will custom-size the suits. How awesome is that?
This is one of the many reasons why I can't even casually browse Etsy. I will always end up seeing something adorable and craving it in a bad way. (Like this!)
For the first time in a while, I bought something from an ice cream truck yesterday. Cherry banana bars are so good. I love summer when it comes to thinks like cookouts and ice cream from the ice cream truck, but I hate the heat so, so much. Especially Texas heat. Sometimes I miss the really hot days back home--and at our old house, we didn't have central air, but we did have two window units for AC, one in the back of the house and one in the front. The air would cycle on, because each unit had a timer, but the downside was that if it was on full blast, it was insanely cold. We used to sleep under lightweight comforters in the summer, it would get so cold inside. And then, in the mornings, once my brother and I were old enough to be left home alone, we'd go to the den and watch TV or play and make blanket forts, even when I was about eleven or twelve.
OH, ALSO! I haven't played The Sims that much in a long, long time. We've had both original recipe Sims and Sims 2, but with all of the commercials for the third installment, I have found myself wanting The Sims 3 in a bad way. I don't have enough space on my current laptop for it! [cries]
