1. Oh yay, it's August! Or not. I don't know. I am totally ambivalent about August.

2. I've been going back and forth over the MP3 player/Zune thing, since I'm pretty sure that Harry is un-fixable. On one hand, I would really like having the 120GB one; on the other, the Zune HD is coming out in a few more months, and it looks so very nifty. I miss having my portable music, but at the same time--fall isn't that far away, so... I don't know.

3. Is it crazy of me to buy two pairs of the same shoe? I ask because my current work shoes are about a year old and I've worn a hole through the lining on the inside and they're not as cushony as they once were. We've got three pairs left in my size and we're probably not going to get any more of that style, so I was thinking I should buy two pairs, since they're so comfy.

4. OH HEY, HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN THAT EXTENDED PREVIEW FOR THE PRISONER?! I watched it last weekend and now I'm all "!!!!" about it. It has Gandalf and Jesus on an island! Come on, how is that not awesome?!

Re: #3. I don't think it's crazy at all. When I found a pair of shoes I liked a lot, I bought them in two different colors. Now that they're wearing out and I can't seem to find the same style anymore, I'm kind of wishing I'd bought more. Also, I have bought 4 pairs of the exact same jeans before because it's hard for me to find ones that I like. In conclusion: not crazy, go for it!
