As of this week, I have been working at The Store for four years. I would have never thought that I was going to be there that long. I've learned a lot in that amount of time, like that the thing that's used to measure your feet is called a Brannock device (say that the next time you go shoe shopping. It will impress the sales people), and all sorts of other fun things about shoes. Whee.

I got off about a half-hour ago and I went over to the new Pinkberry that's opened at the shopping center near my job. To celebrate their opening they had free frozen yogurt! Not bad.

Day Ten of 30 Days of Meme: A photo of you taken over 10 years ago

Me, around August of 1992. We went to Virginia Beach for vacation that year, and I think this was taken during the afternoon when we left. I don't remember a lot of specifics about the exact date, but I do remember that it was unseasonably cool that day (hence the sweatshirt; in other pictures from the same day my brother's wearing one that's exactly like mine) and we ate pancakes at this one restaurant that we'd gone to when we'd come to the beach. I wore that cap until the letters faded off.
