HAPPY THERE ARE NOW FOUR MONTHS AWAY FROM THE WINTER SOLDIER TOO!
Here's how the last half of 2013 went for me: graduated from college with BA in Broadcast Communication, caught an upper respiratory infection that incapacitated me for almost a week while I was completely home alone for the first time (my fever went up and down so much that I started to wonder if I was going to spontaneously combust; that was probably the lowest point), spent a night worrying about my brother, who went to jail again for traffic, and became full-time at The Job.
Today is the first of the year, and there is already one engagement announcement post on Facebook. I think I'm going to go fling myself into a river now, thanks. Last year was a banner year for engagements and weddings and it is doing wonders for my self-esteem, let me tell you all. So I'm going to try to distract myself from angsting over that for a moment and go read all the fan fiction I've bookmarked and not yet read.
