enamouredI really like "Not Like the Movies" in the same way that I like "Teenage Dream", in that I will play the song over and over and still hate that it's by Katy Perry. But when it comes to "Not Like the Movies", I really wish someone else other than her would sing it.
And I don't know if it's the lyrics or what, but for some reason I could absolutely picture it being a song in a musical, with the female lead wistfully emoting as she sits on a window seat or something. There could even be a little reprise with her and the other lead later on.
I don't know where my brain comes up with these things.
