After reading every post on the American Girls thread at Fametracker forums, I'm thisclose to starting an American Girls community. Why? Because I can. And there's no other community for them!

I read every book for the five girls that were out in... 1996. I was a little American Girls freak. It all got started when I discovered the Addy books when I was about seven. I got the second and third books for my eighth birthday, and I got the doll that Christmas. The next Christmas, I got the Molly doll. So, yeah, I was one of those little girls who wanted everything for the dolls, even though the whole collection (doll, clothes, all the books AND the other props) was almost $1000. One day, when I am filthy rich I will buy all the American Girls stuff I want. [rubs hands together evilly]

I know it's sad, but as much as I love the movie Signs, it makes me very very paranoid. I can't watch it at night (like I did last night) because I have to go from the den to my room, and everything in between is pitch black, and I am always terrified that something will leap out of the shadows at me. Last night my brother and I were watching it, and he paused it on the scene where they're showing the footage of the alien in the alley, and we freaked out. This didn't help me sleep at all. I'm such a kid it's ridiculous.

I'm useless, but not for long.

01. Dear Forces of Nature, could you please make the rest of the summer like today and yesterday was? Please? I know it's not the way Texas weather is supposed to be, but please please please stay in the mid-80s for at least another week. I won't pour soda on my lawn and slowly kill spots of grass, I promise.

02. So tomorrow I'm going to register for my classes. Um, yeah.

03. I'm mad... what's with the villian girl in that TV movie Crimes of Fashion being named Candice?

04. Today I rediscovered my love of Chicken McNuggets. Chicken McNuggets are AWESOME.

05. I can't be the only person who's too tall for regular-length jeans, but too short for tall. I got these new jeans on Saturday, and they're great, but they're tall and they drag and I step on the bottoms. So I have to cuff them. And I don't mind it, but good grief. I don't want to step on my jeans every day.

06. Why, oh why can't I find more interesting and neat people to add to my GJ friends list?

07. Why is this my favorite number?

08. I used an old mesh makeup bag to make a wallet. I got all the pins off my backpack and I put them on the bag. So voila! Instant wallet. All my cards and junk fit in it, and I can also include Carmex, a pen, and maybe even other necessary things.

09. I think I need some kind of anger management, becaue every time someone in uknowyouloveme says, "EWWW LINDSAY LOHAN'S GUNNA BE BLAIR IN TEH MOVIE", I feel like seriously injuring someone. I've heard the complaint since March, okay? I am almost sure I have a serious case of limited patience.

10. Isn't there a site where you can find out the rankings for baby names in a certain year? I remember accidentally stumbling on one and finding out that my name was 115th or something one year. One of those has to be out there somewhere, right?
