I went to Wal-Mart today and got the new No Doubt album, a thermal shirt, and other stuff. While I was there, I saw the new issue of Rolling Stone with the 500 Greatest Albums list, so I flipped through to see if I, a dumb seventeen year old, had any Rolling Stone-approved greatest albums. And I had ONE. ONE: Janet Jackson's The Velvet Rope. Two other albums are my parents, and they have them on vinyl: Stevie Wonder's Talking Book and Carole King's Tapestry. Who knew? Ha. I almost bought it but I opted not to. I also almost bought the Sexiest Men issue of People but I was feeling stingy.

I spent three hours racking today. Fun times. Not. My brother didn't want to help too much. While we were doing it, these people down the street were fighting--screaming at each other and stuff. It was crazy. Someone called the police, and I'm glad they did. I was getting a little concerned, especially considering the fact that there was a little kid 'round, listening to all these adults screaming and cussing at each other in front of her.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Turkey! Parade! Eating! This is such a ridiculously American holiday.

i have 14 of the 500 albums :) mostly cos of the radiohead and beck, which each had a few on the list.
god, tho, if my mom were to count the ones she has, it would probably be at least 100.

I so didn't even know No Doubt had a new album. I mean, I know they have that single, but I thought it was just a single. Is it really a whole new album?? I thought they were on break! Sillies.

it's kinda like a collection of all their singles and "It's My Life". I keep listening to "Bathwater"; it's such a fun song.
