I'm only eighteen...

enamouredhappy birthday to me and everyone else born on this lovely date. Including Raven from That's So Raven--she's eighteen like me.
I got searched today in government. They do random backpack/metal detector searches on us, and in government they came in and searched us. No one had anything on them, so I was lucky. Extremely lucky.
The day went pretty well. Little nice things happened. There was a mention of North Carolina on Jeopardy--they mentioned Bennett Place in a question. I used to live about five minutes away from Bennett Place. It's a historical landmark. And during office aid period, they had the radio on the station that plays Christmas songs, and "All I Want is You This Christmas" came on, and I squealed aloud. And I found about three dimes walking around and stuff. And Drew said, "You know I love you!" to me--strictly in jest, but still. My pitiful little heart nearly exploded. And my Secret Santa gag gift was not too much of a gag, but it was funny nonetheless--a "get a man!" kit. I think I know who my Secret Santa is, but that's okay.
I have to retake the permit test tomorrow when I go the DMV to get my permit renewed. Then I have to retake the driver's test, and wait 'til the end of January before I can really drive. Lordy. This is not even worth it sometimes. I kid, I kid.
Anyway, yeah. I am hoping that my dad has finished paying for my class ring and that he'll bring it home tonight. Knowing my luck, though... he didn't get it. [shrugs] Yeah. Now that's left for me to do is get exemption forms signed, study for Evil English Teacher's exam, and have fun this weekend. And get Drew to notice me.
Oh yeah, one of my favorite birthday shoutouts came from a board where my username is IsLikeaSong: IsLikeaSong...You're 18 "At laaaaaast"! Hee.
