My Secret Santa is super-nice. Today I got a copy of The Prayer of Jabez for Teens, just as a reminder that I won't be alone--as on the application I said "dying unloved" was one of my biggest fears. I have warm fuzzies.

So, yes, I got my class ring last night. It's on my left hand. It's kind of weighty, but I like it and I waited for so long to get it, so OF COURSE I'm wearing it. I also got a karaoke machine. An American Idol karaoke machine. I find this to be twistedly amusing for some reason that I can't quite explain. Hee hee.

I don't know why I broke out my copy of the People Sexiest Men Alive issue in journalism. Because they (Rachel, Ashley, Crissy, and I think Shana to a lesser extent) broke the cover to see Johnny Depp's pictures. GRR. And, of course, upon seeing the Clay picture, they announced that he was gay (old arguement, people) and Shana pronounced that "he's a little too friendly with Ruben." I just rolled my eyes in my typical way and ignored them.

Oh, the karaoke machine. My mom was doing a very funny version of "Complicated" by ~~Advil~~ Avril. She has NO idea what the song sounds like so naturally, she's looking at the lyrics on the monitor, and saying, in kind of a baffled tone, "Uh huh, yeah. Life's like this. And that's the way it goes. Uh huh, yeah." I would've loved to hear her do the whole song. I probably would've died laughing.

I got my senior theme back from Evil English Teacher. I got an A. She said it was "a joy to read!!" Um, okay, yeah.
