I'm pretty sure that a lot of y'all have heard about the jelly bracelet controversy by now. They just talked about it on Dr. Phil. While I think that the whole thing is kind of crazy (unless middle schoolers now are more corrupt than I was in middle school six years ago... oh, remember those days, it seems like middle schoolers now are less innocent than middle schoolers of the 90s were. I sound so old.), I find myself wanting to buy some of those things. Robert wore a few last year, and I would ask him for his black ones or his dark blue one. (ignore the "meanings" of the bracelet's colors--I just liked 'em.) I feel silly because I want to buy a bag of black ones and wear them around, 'cause chances are my dad may have heard this rumor somewhere, and I kind of would like to freak him out.

I'm a terrible person. But seriously--I like those freakin' bracelets! I'd probably chew on mine (I have a horrible oral fixation; I've chewed far too many pen caps), but I think they are neat.

Anyway. Anyone want to see any more handwriting samples from me?

hearing about the bracelet controversy caused me to put most of my hundred that i'd taken off, back on... in protest and defiance.
i got a lot of crap for it at first...
now people mostly leave me alone.

And I've wore those jelly bracelets for a LONG time now. I think it's funny. I wore them long before I found out this whole controversy, but the controversy makes me like 'em even more. ;) Just because I think it's STUPID, lol.
