(no subject)

I am obviously not made out for the girlie thing. (random q: do you spell girlie girly or girlie? I prefer the latter m'self...) When I come into the library I leave my bag with my backpack, as I don't have anything of true value in my bag, except for my camera flash, my (empty) wallet, and pens and lip gloss and lotion. And Ashley saw it and she was telling me, "You don't do that!" [snorts] I obviously don't carry a purse very often.

Anyway. I mailed off my National Urban League packet yesterday, along with my UNC application. I have a few other scholarships to do, and I am SO doing my Ithaca ap this week along with my FAFSA. I need breathing room, dad GUM it.

Apparently the tour dates for the Kelly/Clay tour are out. Hey--where are they at? When do the tickets go on sale? And WHY am I ALWAYS broke when a show I want to see has its tickets going on sale? I swear, there's something wrong with the balance of the universe because that ALWAYS happens to me.

Hollywood Bowl auditions are in a few weeks, and I don't know WHAT I want to sing. But I MUST MUST absofreakinglutely MUST get in this year. I MUST.

I always spell it as 'girly'.

Once I left my purse on a table in our school library and the guy friends I was sitting with went through it (they were gonna pretend someone stole all my stuff) and they found a tampon and freaked out. It was so great. They never ventured forth into my purse again.

I discovered that the FACT that they were touring together yesterday, so when I found the dates I matter-of-factly promised myself that I would go to the Texas date, come hell or high water. And, well, I can't break a promise to myself, really. Nope.
