I went to Blockbuster last night and rented Swimfan and Sixteen Candles. Swimfan was creepy. Erika Christensen was a psycho. I was yelling at my TV in the middle of the night. It finished around midnight, but I didn't feel like sleeping, so I watched Sixteen Candles. It's an old copy of the movie, because it has the original square "Be kind--rewind!" stickers Blockbuster had when it first came out. And the the tape got caught in the VCR, so I had to delicately take it out and wind it a little. But it played, and it was really cute. Really, really, achingly cute. I loved it. I have to buy the video. God, can't my life be a Molly Ringwald movie for a few months please? Gah. The Breakfast Club is still my favorite Brat Pack movie, but Sixteen Candles is just sweet.

I went to the mall today. I was there for about three hours. Here's the thing about malls. You can't spend too much time there or you start to hate it. I was going to buy clothes but I didn't see anything I liked, and if I did it cost too much or I got depressed and didn't buy it. I was supposed to get underwear, but I just got depressed and decided not to buy anything at all. I saw so much OTHER stuff I wanted--a Breakfast Club poster at Suncoast, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below on vinyl at Hot Topic, a John Cusack t-shirt at Torrid, and some CDs--but my mom gave me the money semi-specifically for clothes, and I need to buy clothes. So no buying other junk for me.

I came home and I rode down the bike trail some, then I watched The Sure Thing on TV. I wish I had someone to do something with. I want to have a sleepover, lame as that sounds. I just want a friend to hang out with.

I don't know how to feel about Drew, but I still have some kind of lingering feelings for him. Eh, I can't explain it. Crushes suck, especially ones that are seemingly not reciprocated.
