Well, I called this on Friday. I went to a track meet and I was outside for about four hours in 40-50 degree weather with just my hoodie on. I called Sara while I was there and told her I'd suspected that I'd end up catching a cold. And, yeah, I did. Sunday it was just a really bad case of a sore throat, but I managed to thwart that by gargling with warm salt water once every four hours (why exactly does that work?) and using the throat spray. But then I started feeling achy yesterday and my nose is still horribly stuffy. And, I swear, I have had a headache since yesterday that I can't quite seem to shake. I take Tylenol and lay down but it's like, it keeps sneaking up on me. Add that to the fact that my brother is blasting his stereo and every five minutes I hear the Ying Yang Twins or whoever screaming "YEAAAAH!", and you'll understand that I have not felt well at all lately. I just hope I'm over this by Friday.
I need to go and edit my presets for "favorite channels". I have to add Noggin, VH1, MTV, The History Channel, Comedy Central, Sci-Fi Channel, Disney, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon. I really would like it if we got the Biography Channel and the Nicktoons Channel, but my dad won't pay for them. Crikey. I really want Nicktoons, 'cause they run Rocko's Modern Life and The Angry Beavers, two of my favorite Nicktoons EVER.
I really want the James Taylor greatest hits CD. Okay, I'm the biggest nerd ever. But I like him. And I like his version of "How Sweet it Is to Be Loved By You" better than Marvin Gaye's.
That's it for now. I think I'm going to take more medicine and suffer from a Tylenol-induced high. (yes, I'm kidding.) What I'd like is something to get rid of my earache, which is probably induced from my clogged nasal passages. Ugh, I think I have a sinus infection.
Oh, did I tell you about my driver's test? If not: I PASSED IT! I can FINALLY legally DRIVE! (well, when I go to the DMV and get my license, I can...)
