I haven't been allowed to go outside to do anything except retrieve the paper and get the mail for three days. My bike is calling to me. And the weather here is GORGEOUS. The high is about 81 and it's clear and there's a nice breeze--PERFECT biking weather. And I can't go outside. Part of me says, "You're eighteen! Go outside if you want to!" But I've opted not to, as to not upset the parental units. My mom and brother currently have whatever I got, so I'm going to assume that it wasn't allergies. However, I did notice I was coughing madly when I went to go lift weights in the garage. We have a freakish amount of dust in there. No physical activity for me.

I sound like such a workout nut right now, and it could be SO far from the truth. I'm just one of those people who HAAAATES not being able to move around. If you're into the whole astrology deal, I'm a Sagittarius, and Sags are stir-crazy travelers. Sags have to move. Sags are also compatible with Aries and Leos and Libras.

Anyway...

I'm still waiting for more letters from colleges. Notably from Sarah Lawrence and UNC. Scared to get the ones from those. Will be even more scared if I get accepted to all of them. Why, I don't know.

This time tomorrow I will be getting ready for Aiken/Clarkson '04. Concert #10 for me. And it always seems to happen that before concerts I NEVER have money, well, except for the last one, when I had a freakish amount of money at my dispensal because I was trying to buy a better ticket... which I couldn't get. [sniffles] Now all I have is $15, which I need to buy much-needed girlie items with. I need a job desperately, so I can fund my various obsessions, be they purchasing tour books and tickets at pop concerts, getting CDs at Wal-Mart, or getting t-shirts with John Cusack on them.

And I end with this thing going around: pick an interest from my interest list that you either 1) don't know anything about, or 2) can't understand why I would dig it. Then I'll (try) and tell you all about it.

yeah, having faith is mostly directed towards faith in God, but it's also about me having faith in people and myself. All that good stuff. And a double entendre is something that sounds like it could mean something, but it means something totally different. I'm doing a really bad job at explaining it, though.

And YES! I LOVE She Spies! I've been missing it lately because I'm trying to go to bed earlier so I won't sleep in church on Sundays. But I totally watch it.

"playing against type" is a term that apparently they sometimes use when an actor who's done a certain kind of role does something different. Like, if Arnold Shwartznegger ever played, oh, a yoga instructor, that's playing against type. And Mo Rocca is a commentator on I Love the 70s/80s/Strkes Back/90s and can also be seen on Best Week Ever and The Daily Show. He's the guy with glasses often mentioned with Hal Sparks and Michael Ian Black.
