long days are ahead.

enamouredFairly quick summary of the past couple days:
Friday: went to the concert. It was awesome. I babbled a little about it in my GJ, so check the links in my journal for it. I haven't done a big recap because I feel incredibly unmotivated. I got home around 11 P.M. and put in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and fell asleep with it on.
Saturday: I got up, and my mom and I had this disagreement. Yeah. We ended up spending the rest of the day looking for my prom dress. We went to Special Occasions, a dress outlet place in Dallas, and they had absolutely NOTHING there that I liked. Then we went to the mall, and I was wondering if I could find a dress more than the one at David's Bridal. I didn't. So I walked across the parking lot over there, and there was the dress! We ended up buying it, but I'm not actually able to bring it home 'til tomorrow because the part where the zipper was in the back was a little bit frayed and it had to get fixed. After that, I have to still get it altered. But hey, I have a prom dress.
Sunday: stayed home from church because Mom, my brother, and I weren't feeling well. I watched a lot of VH1. Later on, I watched Thelma and Louise on AMC, and then I called Julie for the first time in forever. We talked for about an hour. After that, I got bored and went online for a short while. I went to bed about 10:50, and didn't go to sleep until about almost midnight, explaining why I've felt dead almost all day.
That's it. Really, I had a boring spring break. I wish I had something to do when I get home besides homework and scholarship essays.
Oh yeah, I'm still also a bit crabby that my breakfast this morning (a banana) got ruined. I forgot it was in the front pocket of my backpack and it got squished. [sniffs]
