enamouredI have a problem. Lately, my left eye has been mysteriously twitching. I don't know what exactly is wrong with it, but it just does at random times. I don't know if it is a stress thing or something, but it's scary. I wonder if it's going to make me seem deranged or something, but I think I need to have something done, or ask my mom or something.
Anyway. Yesterday I was driving to school with my dad to pick my brother up, and on the way there, there's this bridge we cross that leads us on a service road. So I crossed the bridge, but the street was slick, and there's a stop sign, so I stopped and the van made this weird noise. I asked my dad, "What is that?", and he explained it was the car sliding a little bit. I waited just a second longer because a truck was going by, then the next thing I know, we got hit from behind. I just shrieked, then started saying, "Oh my God, oh my God" over and over, even though I knew it wasn't my fault. I changed sides and my dad pulled the car around to the corner so he could get the information from the man who had bumped into us. He explained that his breaks had locked up when he tried to stop. Then he asked for my license, but, of course, I don't have a license yet; I still have my permit. My dad came over to our car and asked for my permit, but I reached into my pocket, and to my horror--I'd forgotten it. I was just completely shocked. Everything turned out okay--well, as okay as it can get after you get rear-ended. I was just really in a state of shock and convinced more than ever that I will NOT get my license any time in the next decade. The back fender is just more dented than it already was, because someone ran into my mom in the parking lot at Wal-Mart a year or so ago. So yeah, there goes some car trauma for me. At least I wasn't at fault, though I felt like it for some reason.
Anyway, on a non-dramatic note, I don't know what to think about the fact that Joss Stone is going to be on VH1's Divas Live this year. I'm glad she's getting publicity, but at the same time, I can't help thinking, "Ugh, everyone is going to be like, 'OMG, she is sooo kewlz!!!1111', and say they heard of her first." It's weird how I feel about that. But, oh well, girl can sing. I can't wait for her other CD to come out.
I had a dream last night that my Spanish I teacher died, then later I was at a movie theater, except the theater was set up in an old airport hangar that had bleacher-like seats and a big screen. (it looked like the set of a music video.) Josh and Kevin from school were there. I think we were going to see either Secret Window or Dawn of the Dead.
I like going to Kabalarians and looking up names. I used to be a name meaning connoisier. I got a baby name book at the grocery store when I was five, and I had it until I was about ten or eleven, then it got destroyed in the washing machine. Anyway, here's what my name means, and it's pretty accrate:
