Remember how yesterday I was worrying that we'd end up with a really sucky prom theme song? Well, apparently at the meeting yesterday, they couldn't decide on the song, so they are having a meeting next week to vote on it.

Guess what song was ALMOST considered to be THE choice?

...surely, they jest. WHAT KIND OF PROM THEME IS THAT?!?!?! ARRRGH! This must be stopped! I have to fix this! The song's good to dance to, but it's not worthy of a prom theme!

That is a pretty lame theme idea. The 3 proms I went to-a long long time ago- were Medieval Romance, Arabian Nights and Forever Young. They were all ok. The backdrops for our pictures all looked similar each year, they weren't very creative.

originally, our theme was supposed to be "Always and Forever", and if it'd been that, we would've had our song right there. But now the theme is "If Only For One Night...", and we need a song. I've heard that the theme's named after a song, but the song... is just awful. [shakes head]

Arabian Nights sounds like it was a cool theme, though!
