Hi everyone. I'm back from San Antonio. I can officially say that I've been in the Alamo now. Yeehaw. The weather down there the whole time was PERFECT, and there weren't very many familiar conflicts, like the ones we USUALLY have when we go out of town, and that made it a fairly decent trip.

It's so weird; I remember that last year I updated EVERY SINGLE DAY in June. How I did that, I will never know. I did a lot of blathering about nothing. But it was JUST SO MUCH FUN.

I'm almost done with this short story I've was relentlessly working on before we left. I was thinking we were going to stay in a hotel that actually had a computer, like when I went up for the Elon visitation weekend. But we didn't, and my dad was constantly using his laptop, so I couldn't finish it. But I'm thisclose to being done, and I am very excited about it... and I'll elaborate on why later.

I called Barnes and Noble. Didn't get the job. They want people with sales experience... Cri. Key. I will only get sales experience if someone hires me, people. Grr.

I wanted to pee on the Alamo! I was trying to find a corner to squat in. But I'd already gone in the token toilets at McDonald's. [sniffles] And we went by the Riverwalk, but my dad was all, "We HAVE to beat traffic!", so no boat rides. I almost got on to spite him, but my mom wanted to ride too, and she was sick, so I had to turn it down. Next time, I tell you. NEXT TIME. [angrily shakes fist]
