Because I'm experiencing a little bit of writer's block, I'm transcribing my old journal entries, so that should I actually decide to publish the thing, I'll have started it.

I'm starting with my oh-so-wonderful sixth grade journals. I can't believe that was seven, eight years ago. If anything, this is proving that I am definately the target audience for I Love the 90s. I mentioned that I wanted Adidas track pants like Mel C. from the Spice Girls already, and I talked about my then-disdain for Hanson. (Who now seem kind of cool to me. Oh, how the times change.) I was in sixth grade in late 1997 and early 1998. It seems like so long ago.

The thing about keeping journals is that if you've kept them since you were very young, like I did, you go back and read them and you are terrified, because you realize that you were a really big geek, when at the time you thought you were oh so cool and knowledgable about everything. Some of the things I did as an eleven year old were truly cringe-worthy. Some of the things I wrote as an eleven year old make me want to tear my hair out and scream, "Why, God, WHY?! I was a blazing IDIOT!" What's worse is the fact that my handwriting SUCKED at the time and I wrote in all cursive, and my cursive has never been very good, so reading it is just bad. The next year, I abandoned the cursive in favor of print. Thank God I did.

You ever have those days where you feel crabby for no reason? Today was one of those days. It might have been because of what happened with the car light, but other things happened that just irked my nerves. But I'm over it now. Ah, the joys of being a girl.\

Also, I'd really like a pen pal. Like, a real pen pal. Anyone know where I could get one?

Haha, yeah I HATE going back and re-reading those. And yet I love it. I wouldn't even post most of the things I said, just because they are SO dumb. You'd all think I was retarded.

First, Hanson is/are awesome. (I can never decide which one to use. I mean, they are a group, so it would be is... but they are also individual Hansons, so it would be are... oh God. Shutting up now.)

I feel crabby for no reason any time I have to work. Well... that's probably why.

Well I don't know about a pen pal, but I'd much enjoy being one of your lj pals. Wanna add me? I found your journal through the mygeneration community. I think you're cool, even if you do like *NSYNC and Britney Spears (hehe... sorry, I had to).
