Saturday, wait. Sunday, never hesitaite...
Sep. 5th, 2004 09:18 pmIt's only nine o'clock. Only nine. Wow.
I'm thinking of FINALLY downloading a trial version of Photoshop or PSP because the DSL makes things work so much faster and I have an inexplicable urge to make icons and other pretty, pretty things. I'll have to ask the paternal unit because he's annoyed because he found lots of spyware and generally bad things on the desktop after he swept it. I completely understand. But I want image editing software, preferably FREE image editing software that is NOT Paint.
I don't know why I have a few t-shirts that are short and have shrunken in the wash and are a little snug. I mean, I don't want unwanted attention up there and I don't particularly want to accentuate anything, but this shirt I'm wearing today (blue Snoopy ringer) is just awesome, as is the simularly short and snug Hello Kitty t-shirt I have. Umm, yeah.
I changed the colors around in the journal and changed the default icon from Phelps to Phantom. Hee. I might change it back, though. (speaking of icons, is there ANY good icon communities that take requests? I wouldn't be asking if I had said editing software...)
Speaking of Michael Phelps, in order for me to go to the swimming thing, I have to get there a couple hours before the time to try to compete with 999 other people to buy tickets, because there's only 1000 tickets being sold to the thing. I have to go get my swimfan on, yo. I HAAAAVE to. And it's on a Friday, so yay. Now I just have to talk someone into going with me.
And
lyevil and
brittanygrace! I couldn't find y'alls e-mail addresses, so here's the info about the journal project!
1. The addresses of the participants will be taped to the inside of the book, in the front of the notebook. When each participant receives the book, they should cross their name off the list of addresses.
2. Each participant will have three pages (six, counting front and back) to use however they please. The first page, however, should be a mini-bio about the participant, and the other pages can feature whatever you want: artwork, pictures, stories, whatever. People you know IRL can add to the book as well.
3. The book can be kept for up to two weeks by a participant, then it should be sent to the next person on the list.
The cover is free to be decorated by anyone participating. Draw on it, put stickers on it, whatever. Make it neat.
4. If you have a digital camera, feel free to take pictures of you with the book.
The last person with the notebook should send it back to me.
5. If there's any other rules that should be added, comment.
I think that's about it. Also: if you haven't sent me your address, please make sure and send it my way! I'm hoping to send the notebook to the first person within a week.
I finally went and got a new journal. Yeehaw.

Date: 2004-09-06 12:43 pm (UTC)because mediums are too small for my chest and larges are too big for me. So I know what you mean by the shrinkage being a good thing sometime.
