I think I want to get back in touch with my inner ten/eleven year old. I say this because yesterday, I went to a Half Price Books I've never been to before and got four books: BSC #5 (one I'd never read before; for some reason, I didn't read past book 3 when I started reading the Baby-Sitters Club and I skipped up to 11), Molly's Surprise and Happy Birthday, Molly (I never finished getting all of the Molly AG books; and I hate the new covers), and--surprise of surprises!--a Bruno and Boots book, The Zuccini Warriors. Yay. I actually have that last one tucked away in my backpack right now, behind my new journal and my algebra books. (speaking of, I like my algebra teacher. A lot. He's a nice guy. I just don't understand half of what he says, but he is all right.)
I had a series of bizzare dreams last night. What else is new? In one of them, my mom and I were being chased by mountain lions, and when I found her I was SO relieved because I thought she'd gotten eaten by the lions, and vice versa. We had this big teary-eyed reunion. The second one featured Princess Leia and Han Solo from Star Wars, my brother, and a school bus. Please explain this to me, because I have never even seen ANY of the Star Wars movies. [slams head on desk] I just don't get it. I'd like to be psychoanalyzed, please.
I have pimped I Used to Believe a freakish amount of times, but it deserves mention for one more thing that is possibly one of the funniest things I've seen on the site. Under the "religion: characters" section, I found this:
when i was about 10, my mom broke the news that santa, the easter bunny, and the toothfary were not real... so i aksed her, "mom was it you the whole time?" and she said "yes baby, it was" so i looked at her, started crying and said "MOM?! ARE YOU GOD TOO?!"
Of COURSE it's rated five stars. That is some kind of funny.

Date: 2004-09-08 10:35 pm (UTC)I can't remember what number 5 is!
3 was with Stacy..and 4 was MaryAnne..so I'm assuming 5 was Claudia..
ah! there's too many for me to remember them.
however, I own all of them except a few in the hundreds, and about 10 of the mysteries. I just recently finished my Super specials collection! ( I was missing number 2.)
